CROWN REGENCY HOTEL & TOWERS

An exceptional hotel complex in Cebu City, Philippines

The Crown Regency Hotel and Towers is a hotel complex in Cebu City, the Philippines. Cebu City is locally known as the “Queen City of the South” for it´s strategic and economic importance to the Philippines, welcoming over 2 million foreign tourists annually. The hotel, located in the very center of the commercial centrum and 60 minutes away from the Mactan International Airport the hotel is an interesting landmark of the area, with 341 guest rooms and leisure facilities on its kind. The main building is the 40-storey Fuente Tower 1 with over 150 meters height and plans to grow more in height. The roofing structure of the tower looks like a crown to highlight a regal presence in the Queen City of the South.

The two highest levels of the hotel tower feature an amusement facility which includes a roller coaster running around the edge of the building and tilts its riders down up to 55 degrees. Sky Experience Adventure offers a variety of extreme rides, and the plans were made to increase the height of the building to add new rides and attractions. The local architectural firm T.I. Vasquez Architects & Planners Inc designed the Fuente Tower 1 hotel building, and the building design focused on functionality, flexibility, and effectiveness of the building usage. There is a great 360 degrees view through the city nearly from all the rooms of the hotel.

The facade maintenance is taken care with the help of Rostek davit system and from monorail tracks which are mounted just above the highest hotel room level. The construction work for the area started in the early 2000s, and the hotel opened its doors in 2005. The development of The Crown Regency Plaza still continues.
