We are happy and proud to announce that Rostek OY of Finland has acquired 100% of the shares of Norwegian NorAcon AS.
The Owners and Founders of NorAcon, Helge Hvam, Ørnulv Holte and Ole Petter Strømland have become minority shareholders in the new Rostek Group. We are very pleased to have these extremely experienced specialists on board.
Both Companies will continue with their own products, brands and distribution channels.
NorAcon AS is smaller than Rostek Oy, but has a first-class reputation for good and competitive products and good customer service. NorAcon has been in very good shape and well managed for almost 20 years.
NorAcon is clearly the market leader in Norway and has a good position on many export markets. Rostek is more international, having exports to approx. 40 countries around the World and we are convinced we can support NorAcon to expand their export business.
The products of Rostek and NorAcon are quite similar, mainly made in aluminium. We believe both companies can benefit from each other´s experience and product portfolio. We are sure this merger will also speed up our R&D activities in the long run.
