ASCOTT HOTEL MANILA

A Spacious Hotel in Bonifacio Global City - Perfectly suitable for Rostek monorail system

Ascott Hotel, in the fast growing Taguig City in Metro Manila, Philippines is the first international serviced residence in the area, which earned BCA Green Mark-certification. It also won the best in hotel architectural design awards in 2014 and 2015. The high-rise building is designed by FSC Architects, and it offers premier Manila serviced apartments in Bonifacio Global City. The 30-storey property with 220 residences completed in 2014 was fully booked from the very beginning. Asscott hotel enjoys the very central location; just a minutes walk away from the Makati district where, the capital’s financial and cultural heart is beating. The area is very crowded, and with the light access system solution, the light illuminating facade is possible to maintain without disturbing the traffic around the hotel building.

The hotel building is simple structured 120 metres high, and perfectly suitable for Rostek monorail system when using suspended access platform for maintenance and window cleaning work. Also a davit system works on the roof of the building. Rostek davits can be manually moved to the needed space wherever a base plate is mounted on the roof ready for attachment.

  • The hotel was fully booked since the first soft opening in 2014
  • Location: Bonifacio Global City, Manila, Philippines
  • Year of completion: 2014
  • monorail track circling top of the towers and a davit system on the roof by Rostek
  • The davit solution is a common access solution for simple facades. However as it is not traversing system, it is moved around manually, and attached to the point where the base plate is mounted on the roof
